Test mode lets you simulate payments without moving real money.<\/p>\n<h2>Switching on test mode<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <strong>Payment providers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Configure<\/strong> next to the provider you want (Pay or Pay Plus).<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Mode<\/strong>, choose <strong>Test<\/strong> and save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>From now on your payment pages show a notice and the methods are labelled \u00abTEST\u00bb. The test card details also appear on the payment page.<\/p>\n<h2>Running the test<\/h2>\n<p>The handiest option is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/terminal-payment-page\/\">Terminal<\/a>: open it, enter an amount and pay with a test card. You can also test the tool you will use most, such as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/pages\/\">Page<\/a> or a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/paylink-request-payment\/\">Paylink<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>With <strong>Pay<\/strong> you can test Visa, Mastercard, TWINT, PostFinance Pay and purchase on invoice. Tests with TWINT, PostFinance Pay and invoice always result in <strong>Confirmed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>With <strong>Pay Plus<\/strong> you can test Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can also try a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/refunds\/\">refund<\/a> on a test payment.<\/p>\n<h2>Remember to switch back to Live<\/h2>\n<p>After testing, set the <strong>Mode<\/strong> back to <strong>Live<\/strong>. While it is on Test, customers cannot really pay you.<\/p>\n<h2>Test payments stay in the list<\/h2>\n<p>You cannot delete them, but you can hide them: filter <strong>Payments &gt; Transactions<\/strong> to show live payments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Before sending your first link to customers, try the whole process yourself.
