You create them once and link them to one or more pages.<\/p>\n<h2>Creating a product<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open <strong>Pages &gt; Products<\/strong> and click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Leave <strong>Active<\/strong> switched on if the product should be visible.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the <strong>Type<\/strong>: product, service, subscription, event, voucher, membership or tip.<\/li>\n<li>Write the <strong>Name<\/strong> and <strong>Description<\/strong> (also in several languages with <strong>Multilanguage<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Price<\/strong>, choose a fixed amount or let the customer decide. The price includes VAT.<\/li>\n<li>Upload <strong>Images<\/strong>: JPG, JPEG, GIF or PNG, at least 600 px wide or high, 10 MB at most.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Other useful options<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Inventory<\/strong>: article number (SKU), quantity the customer can choose and stock count.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Options<\/strong>: if the product comes in several variants (size, colour), add them here. Each variant can have its own price and article number. Stock is counted per product, not per variant.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assign product to a page<\/strong>: only pages with the same currency as the product can be linked.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule display<\/strong>: the product appears only from a date, until a date or in a period. Useful for offers and limited-time registrations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google Merchant Center<\/strong>: publishes the product on Google Shopping (it needs at least one image and a price).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Search engine optimisation<\/strong>: title and description for Google.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you use VAT, first activate it and enter the rates in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/general-settings\/\">General settings<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Discount codes<\/h2>\n<p>A discount code helps you launch a promotion or reward loyal customers. It works on <strong>Pages<\/strong> and in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/terminal-payment-page\/\">Terminal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open <strong>Pages &gt; Discount codes<\/strong> and click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Choose where it applies: activate use in the Terminal or choose the <strong>Payment page<\/strong> (pages with a predefined amount only).<\/li>\n<li>Write the <strong>Discount code<\/strong>, such as <code>CHRISTMAS10<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Type<\/strong>, choose <strong>Fixed amount<\/strong> (such as CHF 10.-) or <strong>Percentage<\/strong> (such as 20%) and enter the <strong>Discount<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Expiry<\/strong> you can limit the available quantity (how many times it can be used) and the end date. If the fields stay empty, the code is valid without limit.<\/li>\n<li>Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In the list you can see how many times each code was used and activate or deactivate it at any time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Products are what you sell on your Pages.
