With Paylink you create a payment request in a minute: write what you are selling, enter the amount and send it by e-mail. Or copy the link and paste it wherever you like: in WhatsApp, a text message or an Instagram message. The customer opens the link and pays with the method they prefer, among those you have activated.<\/p>\n
<youraccount>.1pay.ch\/cadmin<\/code>.<\/li>\n- In the left-hand menu, under Merchant tools<\/strong>, open Paylink<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Click the option to create a payment request.<\/li>\n
- Under Description<\/strong>, write what the payment is for, such as \u00abWebsite deposit\u00bb. With Multilanguage<\/strong> you add the same text in other languages.<\/li>\n
- Enter the Amount<\/strong> and choose the currency: CHF, EUR or USD.<\/li>\n
- Under Recipient<\/strong>, write the e-mail address. For several people, separate the addresses with a comma.<\/li>\n
- Click Create<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Done. If you left e-mail sending on, the customer receives the request immediately. Otherwise, copy the link and send it yourself.<\/p>\n
The options that make the difference<\/h2>\nAttachments<\/h3>\n
You can add up to 3 files of 10 MB each, as PDF or image. Handy for a quote or a course programme.<\/p>\n
Expiry date<\/h3>\n
By default the link never expires. If it should only be valid until a certain day, choose the date: after that, no payment is possible.<\/p>\n
Payment type<\/h3>\n\n- One-off<\/strong>: a single payment. Nearly always the right choice.<\/li>\n
- Subscription<\/strong>: the customer pays at regular intervals, such as every month.<\/li>\n
- Pre-authorisation<\/strong>: the amount is blocked on the card and you capture it later, when the service is confirmed. Typical for deposits and rentals.<\/li>\n
- Tokenisation<\/strong>: the customer saves their payment method and you can charge it later with their consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Payment service providers<\/h3>\n
With All<\/strong>, the customer sees every active method on your account. With Custom<\/strong> you choose, such as TWINT and cards only.<\/p>\nSending by e-mail<\/h3>\n
When sending from the admin area, you choose the e-mail Language<\/strong>, the Subject<\/strong>, the reply address and a personal message. You can also schedule the sending.<\/p>\nThe reminder works for you: state after how many days the request is sent again if unpaid, and how many times at most. Before starting, you can send yourself a test e-mail.<\/p>\n
Look<\/h3>\n
Choose the Look & Feel profile<\/strong> with your logo and colours. You can also change the page title and the text of the payment button, for example to \u00abPay deposit\u00bb.<\/p>\nForm fields<\/h3>\n
Decide which details are needed: name, company, address, telephone, date of birth and others. Ask only for what you really need: fewer fields, more completed payments. Under Legal<\/strong> you can require acceptance of terms and privacy.<\/p>\nAdvanced options<\/h3>\n
If you use management software, add the article number (SKU)<\/strong> and an external reference<\/strong> so you can find the payment in your accounts.<\/p>\nFrequently asked questions<\/h2>\nDoes the customer have to register to pay?<\/h3>\n

How do I see whether they have paid?<\/h3>\n
