The customer opens it, enters the amount and pays. You do not have to create anything each time: one link works for all payments.<\/p>\n<h2>When you need it<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You want a permanent \u00abPay here\u00bb link for your website, e-mail signature or business card.<\/li>\n<li>You receive different amounts each time (consultations, repairs, telephone orders).<\/li>\n<li>You want to send a link with the amount ready, quickly, without going into the admin area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Activating and opening the Terminal<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in at <code>&lt;youraccount&gt;.1pay.ch\/cadmin<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>In the left-hand menu, under <strong>Merchant tools<\/strong>, open <strong>Terminal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Check that the <strong>Status<\/strong> is active.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Address<\/strong> is the link to your page. Open the Terminal to see it as the customer does.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Configuring it<\/h2>\n<p>Each change applies only once you click <strong>Save<\/strong> at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n<h3>Form fields<\/h3>\n<p>Choose what details to ask for. There are 13 fields: description, organisation, first name, surname, telephone, e-mail, notes, street and no., postcode, town, country, plus acceptance of terms and privacy. Activate only what you need: for a consultation, name, e-mail and description are often enough.<\/p>\n<h3>Look &amp; Feel<\/h3>\n<p>Choose the profile with your logo and colours, so the customer sees at once that they are paying you.<\/p>\n<h3>Payment type<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>One-off<\/strong>: the normal payment, captured immediately.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pre-authorisation<\/strong>: the amount is blocked on the card and you capture it later. Useful for deposits and rentals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tokenisation<\/strong>: the customer saves their payment method for future charges agreed with you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Payment service providers<\/h3>\n<p>With <strong>All<\/strong>, the customer sees all active methods. With <strong>Custom<\/strong> you show only those you choose.<\/p>\n<h2>Links with pre-filled details<\/h2>\n<p>You can add parameters to the Terminal address that pre-fill the page. This way you send a ready-made link: the customer checks and pays. For decimals use a point: <code>amount=25.50<\/code>. Spaces in text are written as <code>%20<\/code> (such as <code>purpose=Annual%20fee<\/code>).<\/p>\n<h2>Frequently asked questions<\/h2>\n<h3>What is the difference from Paylink?<\/h3>\n<p>The Terminal is one fixed link for everyone. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/paylink-request-payment\/\">Paylink<\/a> is a request to a specific person, with amount, expiry date and e-mail reminder.<\/p>\n<h3>Can the customer change the amount in the link?<\/h3>\n<p>The link fills in the fields for convenience.
