In <strong>Settings &gt; Legal<\/strong> you enter these texts once and use them in all tools.<\/p>\n<h2>What you can enter<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Privacy policy<\/strong>: what data you collect, why and for how long.<\/li>\n<li><strong>General terms and conditions<\/strong>: delivery, returns, cancellations, refunds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legal notice<\/strong>: who you are and how to contact you. It also uses the details under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/company-details\/\">Company<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom footer link<\/strong>: for example a link to the terms published on your website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Open each section with the <strong>+<\/strong>, write or paste the text and click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Having customers accept them<\/h2>\n<p>In each tool, under <strong>Form fields<\/strong>, you can make acceptance of the terms and privacy policy compulsory. The customer cannot pay without ticking the box. It is also a good defence in the event of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1pay.ch\/en\/docs\/disputes\/\">disputes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>A word of caution<\/h2>\n<p>1pay.ch does not write legal texts for you and cannot tell you what they must contain for your activity.
