What does cash really cost you?
Cash looks free, but it has to be counted, taken to the bank and paid in. Enter your figures and see what it costs you per month and per year.
How it is calculated
The calculator adds up two things. Time: the minutes spent counting the till on each opening day and on each bank deposit, multiplied by the value of an hour of work (yours or that of whoever does it for you). And costs: what the bank charges for deposits and what you lose through till differences or counterfeit notes.
The result is a cost per month, per year and as a percentage of your cash takings. The starting values are only an example: enter your own. To compare it with taking TWINT and cards, use the fee calculator.

By giving customers a convenient way to pay without it: a QR code at the till, Tap to Pay on an Android phone or a terminal. With 1pay.ch the features are the same on every plan and the Starter plan has no monthly fee.
