Who is behind 1pay.ch
A service by AMWeb in Arbedo: real people who answer you, from Ticino.
1pay.ch was born from a concrete need: to offer customers a complete, flexible payment solution, without the steep costs and long approval times typical of many providers in the Swiss market.
The project is led by Aron Martinez, owner of 1pay.ch and founder of AMWeb, a web development and consulting agency based in Arbedo, Ticino.
My experience
Before launching 1pay.ch, I worked for several years in fintech at the Aduno Group, and then worked with several payment providers through AMWeb, my agency. This let me see the limits of existing solutions up close, especially for smaller organisations: associations, SMEs, makers and private people who often face complex contracts, high costs and long activation procedures designed more for large companies than for them.

I wanted to build a platform that solves these problems at the root:
