Many people no longer take out a card: they pay with their phone or watch. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay use the cards saved on the device, confirmed with a fingerprint, face or code.
Where to activate them #
- Apple Pay and Google Pay: with the Pay provider or with Pay Plus (with one of the two only).
- Samsung Pay: with the Pay provider.
Go to Payment providers, click Configure and activate the icons.
What you can do #
One-off payments, full and partial refunds, pre-authorisations and tokenisation. For subscriptions, activate them with the Pay provider: recurring charges do not work with Pay Plus.
What the customer sees #
The button appears only if the device and browser support it. Apple Pay, for example, appears on iPhone, iPad and Mac with Safari. On Android, Google Pay appears. You do not have to do anything: the page shows the right button by itself.
In person, the same wallets also work with POS terminals and Tap to Pay.
