In the menu, under Card readers, you will find everything you need for your POS terminal: a list of steps to complete and, once the terminal is active, the list of your devices.
The three steps #
- Complete account verification. If you have not done so yet, follow Account verification. In the activity part, state an in-person point of sale: fixed location, mobile, or events and markets.
- Activate the Pay provider. The terminal uses the Pay provider’s methods: cards, TWINT and wallets. Read All payment methods at a glance.
- Order the terminal. Click the option to order a terminal, choose the model (N86 or N6) and the point of sale to link it to.
The terminal arrives about 10 working days after ordering, already configured and ready to use, with the SIM inserted.
The first day #
- Charge the battery.
- Switch on the terminal: it connects to the mobile network by itself.
- Take a first payment of a few francs with your card or TWINT and check it appears in the admin area.
Payments made at the terminal appear under Payments > Transactions along with online ones, and reach your account with the same payout.
Several points of sale? #
If you have several shops, or a stall as well as a shop, order one terminal for each point of sale and link it to the right one when ordering.
