The bank account for your payouts

You manage the account that receives your payouts under Settings > Payout settings.

Adding or changing the account #

1. Open Settings > Payout settings.
2. Click the option to add an account for payouts.
3. Choose the account currency and the bank’s country (for CHF accounts: Switzerland or Liechtenstein).
4. Enter the BIC, Account holder name and IBAN.
5. Save.

The rules to follow #

• The account must be in the name of whoever holds the 1pay.ch account: the person for sole traders, the company for limited companies, the association for associations.
• The holder’s name must match exactly the one registered with the bank, otherwise the bank may reject the transfer.
• A QR-IBAN cannot be used.

Several currencies #

You can have one account per currency: CHF, EUR, GBP and USD. You then choose the Default currency.

• If you take payments in a currency for which you have no account, the amount is converted to the default currency at the day’s rate, with a 2% conversion fee.
• For Pay Plus payouts in USD to an account outside the United States, a 1% fee is added.

If you often take payments in euros, an EUR account saves you money.

The payout description #

Under Payout description you choose the text that appears on your bank statement, such as «1pay Shop». For Pay Plus payouts only the first 22 characters count, for Pay up to 140.
