Opening a 1pay.ch account is free and needs no credit card. It takes only a few minutes.
The steps #
- Go to signup.1pay.ch.
- Enter your e-mail address and the account name. This name becomes part of the address of your payment pages (
<youraccount>.1pay.ch), so keep it short and recognisable: the name of your business or association works well. - You receive a confirmation code by e-mail: copy it into the form to confirm your address.
- Say whether you will use 1pay.ch as a private individual or as a business, and add your contact details.
- Say where you sell: online, in person or both.
Done: you arrive in the admin area at <youraccount>.1pay.ch/cadmin, on the Starter plan, free for ever.
Do you need a registered company? #
No. You can also open an account as a private individual, sole trader or association. During account verification we ask for the documents that match your legal form.
What next? #
Your account is open, but to receive real payments you need to complete account verification. In the meantime you can already prepare pages, products and the look of your payment pages.
