With 1pay.ch you switch payment methods on with one click, without separate contracts. You will find them under Payment providers, grouped into two providers: Pay and Pay Plus. Think of them as two «bundles» of methods managed by us.
Pay: the Swiss methods #
- TWINT (including «pay later»)
- PostFinance Pay
- Visa and Mastercard, also with Click to Pay
- Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay
- Purchase on invoice with QR-bill
- Crypto
- Pay by Bank, for taking euros from customers with an account in Germany or Austria
With Pay, a single payment can be up to CHF 20’000.-.
Pay Plus: the international methods #
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and Discover
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Klarna
- European and Asian methods such as iDEAL, Bancontact, eps, Przelewy24, SEPA, Alipay and WeChat Pay
With Pay Plus, a single payment can be up to CHF 30’000.-. Pay Plus accepts many other currencies besides CHF and EUR.
Can I use both? #
Yes, and it is often the best choice: TWINT and PostFinance Pay through Pay, American Express and Klarna through Pay Plus. Just make sure you do not switch on the same method (such as Visa) in both: each one can be active with one provider only.
Each provider makes its own payout: if you use both, you will see two separate credits on your account. Read Payouts.
Switching a method on or off #
- Go to Payment providers.
- Click Configure next to Pay or Pay Plus.
- Among the available methods, click the icons to activate or deactivate them.
- Check the activated Currencies and save.
Some methods (TWINT «pay later», crypto) need an additional request: we explain this in the relevant article.
The fees #
They depend on your plan and the method. You will find everything in Fees and plans.
