Nexgo N86 and N6 POS terminals: costs and contract

To take payments at the counter, in a shop or on the move, 1pay.ch rents you a POS terminal that is ready to use. It accepts cards, TWINT and wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The two models #

  • Nexgo N86: with a built-in printer for receipts. Ideal for shops, bars and restaurants.
  • Nexgo N6: compact and light, without a printer. Ideal for people on the move, markets and events.

What it costs #

CHF 25.- a month per terminal, SIM included: the terminal works on the mobile network, with no need for the premises’ Wi-Fi. On top of this come the payment fees of your plan (see Fees and plans).

The contract #

  • Minimum term: 12 months.
  • Cancellation: in writing, within 30 days of expiry.
  • Delivery: usually within 10 working days of ordering.
  • Faults: if the terminal breaks, we replace it free of charge. If the damage is caused by your own intervention on the terminal, we may invoice the cost of the terminal. Read What to do if your terminal breaks down.

How to order it #

From the admin area, in the Card readers section. First you need a verified account and the Pay provider active.

Do you really need a terminal? #

If you take payments only a few times a month, you can start free with Tap to Pay on an Android smartphone or with a QR Pay code on the counter. A terminal is worthwhile when you take payments often, want a printed receipt or need your phone for other things.
