How much does 1pay.ch cost? #

The Starter plan is free for ever: you pay only a fee when you take a payment. The other plans have a monthly charge and lower fees. The features are the same in every plan. Read Fees and plans.

Do I need a registered company? #

No. You can also use 1pay.ch as a private individual, sole trader or association. Read Account verification.

How long does it take to get started? #

The account opens in a few minutes. Verification, if the documents are complete and arrive by 16:00 on a working day, is usually finished the same day.

When does the money arrive? #

Normally every Monday, with payments older than 3 days. You can ask for another day or a monthly payout. Read Payouts.

Can I accept TWINT without a terminal? #

Yes: with a QR Pay code, a Paylink, a Page or the Terminal. With an Android smartphone you can also use Tap to Pay.

Does Tap to Pay work on iPhone? #

No, only on Android smartphones and tablets.

How much does a POS terminal cost? #

CHF 25.- a month, SIM included, with a minimum contract of 12 months. Read POS terminals.

Does the customer have to register to pay? #

No. They open the link or scan the QR, choose the method and pay.

Can I give a payment back? #

Yes, in full or in part, directly from the admin area. Read Refunds.

Can my pages be in German, French or Italian? #

Yes. Activate the multilanguage frontend in General settings and write the texts in the languages you want.

Can I collect membership fees automatically every year? #

Yes, with a Donation campaign or a product of type Subscription in Pages. Read Subscriptions.

Can I try it without moving real money? #
