In Settings > General settings you define the basics that apply to all your payment pages.
Page title #
This is the name that appears in the browser tab when a customer opens one of your payment pages. Use the name of your shop or association.
Service status #
It must be active to receive payments. If you deactivate it, your pages go into maintenance and customers cannot pay. This can be useful while you prepare your account, but remember to switch it back on.
Default currency #
The currency suggested by default in the admin area, usually CHF. The currencies customers can use are activated in the payment providers.
Taxes #
If you are subject to VAT, activate taxes and enter the rates you use (for example 8.1%, 2.6% and 3.8%). You will then find them in products and invoices.
Languages #
- Frontend: the languages in which customers see the payment pages. Activate the multilanguage frontend and choose the languages, for example Italian, German, French and English. Then choose the default frontend language.
- Administration: the language of the admin area for your user (it does not change other users’ language) and the default language of e-mail notifications.
With the multilanguage frontend active, every tool has a Multilanguage link for writing titles and descriptions in the various languages.
Analytics #
Here you can enter a tracking code (such as Google Analytics) for all pages, and a code that fires only after a successful payment, useful for measuring your campaign conversions. Remember to mention it in your privacy policy.
