The association’s treasurer, the shop assistant, the accountant: each can have their own access to the admin area, with just the permissions they need. No shared passwords.
Adding a user #
- Open Settings > User administration.
- Click the option to add a user.
- Enter the person’s E-mail (first name and surname are optional) and choose the User role.
- Click Invite: the person receives an invitation by e-mail and sets their own password.
User roles #
The Administrator role has all rights and cannot be changed or deleted. To give fewer permissions, open the User roles tab, add a role and choose what it can see and do. Some ideas:
- a role for people taking payments, with the payment tools only;
- a role for the accountant, with payments, payouts and reports but no access to settings.
Administrators can also choose which menu items to show, to keep the admin area simple.
The account holder #
In the user list, one person is marked as account holder: they are responsible for the account towards 1pay.ch.
When someone leaves #
Remove their access from the user list straight away. The list also shows each person’s last login date: useful for tidying up.
